Phase 1: Introductory Steps

Generally, this is what most of our projects look like, whether we’re talking about interior wall & ceiling painting, cabinet painting, trim painting, or special projects like furniture refinishing. We aim to please.

First, We Discuss Your Project

If you’d rather not visit our Brookfield workshop and speak with us directly, simply call us at 262-999-0507. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will be happy to discuss your project with you. You can also use our website’s Contact Us form to shoot us an email.

We are all open, honest, and no-pressure individuals. We want to help you discover your needs and ensure we’re available on your timeline. We also determine which of our consultants fits your project best by type: interior, exterior, cabinets, trim, wallpaper, etc.

Then, You’ll Meet With A Colorwheel Specialist

Your project consultant will arrive on time wearing a smile. This meeting typically takes about an hour.

Our goals are:

  • To understand what you’d like to have done. Subsequently, we’ll ask questions about your ceilings, walls, trim, cabinets, vanities, you name it. That way, we can better understand what the process looks like for you.
  • To establish a budget, which must align with project scope. To that tune, the more open you are about budgeting, the better we can help you get the most bang for your buck!
  • To provide perspective on what Colorwheel Painting can do and how we do it. Most people need clarification about communication, timing, and other other aspects of our work.

Upon meeting these goals, your consultant will give you a turnaround time for us to get back to you with a project proposal. We don’t do same-day, on-the-spot quotes. We won’t ask you to sign on the spot either, so you can receive some phony 10% discount. Instead, pure respect. Yours will be done professionally from head to toe, and you’ll have time to read it over.

You’ll Get A Proposal Via Email

You will receive your proposal from us via email within the agreed-upon time frame. We encourage you to review it thoroughly. It becomes “the final word” for us, so its accuracy is paramount. That includes reading terms and conditions, too.

For instance, if you run into issues with our work on your cabinets or trim and need modifications, we’ll disclose information outlining how we’ll proceed with these challenges. No surprises.

Phase 2: After Choosing Colorwheel Painting

After choosing Colorwheel Painting and signing a contract, we’ll ask you to fill out our interior or exterior project form. We’ll also ask you to provide a deposit in most cases (our Bill Pay page can help; a new window will open). Afterward, here’s how your project progresses.

Your Project Gets Scheduled

We schedule based on your needs, but this requires a few things. First, after acceptance of our proposal, a questionnaire is sent automatically. Please fill it out.

  • It helps us serve you well for the day-to-day project logistics (good topics, you’ll see).
  • Second, please send the deposit or make one online (ACH is best).
  • Third, get those colors selected or arrange for help!

We Conduct Our Professional Work

This part is on us. While we may have questions along the way, and you may have some, we get down to business and make things happen. We get results! In the meantime, you’ll be doing you. And we know that could mean a busy day in the office, a superhero award-winning effort as a stay-at-home parent, or anything across the board. Working with our teams is a breeze.

We Collect Payment & Hope To See You Again!

When the work is close to being done, we’ll invoice for the final payment. After that, it’s simple, we hope you call us again. We want to hear from you again and again as you work through the home, buy a new one, or have a business to keep updated. Remember that referrals and repeat customers account for a sizable portion of our business every year.
