The Madson Light Oak Kitchen

โ€œThis timelapse case study covers a classic 1990โ€™s oak kitchen cabinet system in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This system has builder-grade cabinets like that of many in the area. They came from a factory, mass produced, and got slapped together on site. Thereโ€™s nothing custom about them. Finished in a traditional golden oak tone, theyโ€™re bright and exhibit orange to yellow hues. The only problem is that itโ€™s very overwhelming and makes the home feel dated. In this video you can see the entire Colorwheel cabinet painting process unfold. This is complete with a family actively living in the home and using the kitchen. Be amazed as this kitchen becomes bigger and more inviting to the eye. And pay careful attention to how this off-white color marries to the existing wood finishes that remain.โ€

The Wilson Dark Oak Kitchen

โ€œAh, the 1980โ€™s. Big hair. MTV. And neon colors, except in the kitchen! Call it a late 70โ€™s hangover and in this video, youโ€™ll find a suburban Germantown, Wisconsin, kitchen get transformed. Only Colorwheel Painting can handle taking a dark, dated kitchen like this one and bringing it into the modern era without the time, hassle, or cost of a remodel. Just like our 1990โ€™s video, here you can see the Colorwheel cabinet painting process unfold. From start to finish, dark to light. And another color that works!โ€

Smooth Birch Cabinet Painting

โ€œHave you ever wondered if people paint nearly brand new cabinets? The answer is a resounding yes. Even new, luxury custom cabinets are a perfect candidate for our painting services. Some buyers encounter them when acquiring a flip; some buy a new home and get whatโ€™s there. Either way, making a change is possible and a wise investment. In this video, watch this 1960โ€™s Whitefish Bay home, updated to new cabinets in 2019, get transformed.โ€

Built-In Shelving, Mantle Conversion, Color Varnishing

โ€œOak again, and again and again. Itโ€™s Wisconsin afterall. This expansive built-in shelving unit was stained and matched to that of all the woodwork in this home. However, it just became too much to look at โ€“ oak overload. In this video, you see how Colorwheel Paintingโ€™s expert staff converts this oak to a darker, stained finish. In addition, select elements are primed, sanded, and painted. All together, this is a great update to a Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, home.โ€
